Is the Apple iPad (64GB+Wifi) worth buying?

I have a busted 32GB iPod Touch 2G. Definitely going to buy either an iPod Touch 64GB or an iPad 64GB with WiFi. Portability and Price do not matter at this point. What do you guys think? Best argument, for one of the two products, gets the best answer.

Do you want big or small? That’s about the difference.

For me the bigger screen and faster processor make the iPad a better solution for me. But the iPad won’t fit in your pocket like an iPod Touch will.

So what’s more important to you: the ability to put the device in your pocket or the much larger screen and faster processor?

Oh, also we expect to see the new iPhone on June 7th at Apple’s WWDC. Last year the new iPhone (then the 3GS) was out for sale 3 weeks after the announcement, and the iPod Touch got an update just after that. With the iPad out now, tech people are predicting that the new iPhone and the new iPod Touch will come out at the same time (probably mid to late June). If you go the iPod Touch route, I’d wait for a couple months.

If you decide on the iPad, buy it now. If you want to wait until sometime next year you COULD wait for the 2nd gen iPad, but then people will be saying the 3rd gen is going to have SO many more features! And on, and on, and on. If you always wait for the next gen you are never going to buy anything. I had hands-on experience with the iPad on day one and it’s perfect….for MY needs. I was waiting until the 3G version came out (it dropped yesterday) and I’ll be getting mine in a couple days.
