How can I fix my gateway computer?

I have a Gateway desktop pc and it worked fine until a few months ago when it stopped working. When I try to turn the PC on, it doesn’t turn on. I looked at the motherboard and nothing is loose. I see lights on in the motherboard, so I know the PC is receiving power. Only reason I didn’t fix it right away is because I got a laptop and I just realized my gateway has media center capabilities and I can hook tv up to it and use it as a DVR.

Sounds like a bad Power supply unit, go to your local computer store, and buy one they start off at around 49.99, and are farily easy to install.
