Are Laptops recommended for students entering the IB(international baccalaureate) course?
I’m going to be starting IB next year, and I was wondering if a laptop would help.
The subjects ill be taking are Std Math, Higher English, Higher Economics,Std French,Higher Psychology,Std Biology.
I’ve heard laptops are useful for IB, but do they make that much of a difference? By the way, I do not already have a laptop, im looking to buy one if that is the case…
Well it depends, if your serious in class and are going to take notes, a laptop is useful because all of your notes are organized on your computer. But that’s not to say that handwritten notes aren’t as good, but what i noticed in class is that the kids with laptops generally didn’t pay attention and were playing video games. I would recommend getting a laptop maybe in your senior year or after a while in your junior, that way your used to the work load and can decide if you need one.
