what is best? apple macbook pro laptops,or pcs?

just want to know the pros and cons.i have NEVER OWNED A LAPTOP.

CON
-Overpriced. Apple products are always more expensive than the equivalent PC.
-Does not run all software, although not as much an issue now as it used to be.
PRO
-Hackers and virus makers don’t care about the minority operating system as much as windows.
-Resistant to your stupidity.
-Stylish

***PC(Windows)***
CON
-Do you know how to use a computer? Idiots can seriously mangle these things.
-bland styling
-most viruses are written for windows(virus scan+firewall+patching = no problems)
PRO
-If you need to do something on a computer, and there is software available, that software is Windows compatible.
-Cheaper

Either way you should install a virus scan and firewall because both operating systems have vulnerabilities, and both will require patching from time to time (usually done automatically). And yes, I know you could technically install some flavor of Linux on a PC, but would you really be asking us this question if you were considering that?

My choice has always been PC as a matter of cost. I don’t see what I gain besides style with any apple product, but if you are pants on head retarded when it comes to computers then you probably deserve a mac.
