What temperature does laptop parts begin to burn out or fail?

I just Downloaded Everest and it showing me that my laptop is running at 171 degrees Celsius
Opps , its 171 F and 77 C

it should have a safety feature so that if it gets to hot, it shuts down automatically. 170 celcius seems wrong though. if you can touch the outside of the laptop comfortably its fine, and generally if its really hot and kind of hurts, then you should turn it off. if it is really hot then you should open up the computer and try to get any dust you can out. if threes no dust, then its a computer specific problem that could be, its just a computer that gets hot or theirs a short circuit or it was designed bad etc.
