Should I use a backpack, tote, or messenger bag?

This is my first year at a public high school, and I am going to be a junior. We do not have lockers, we have a classroom set of books and an at home set of books, so I do not have to lug all those around. I just have to take my notebooks from class to class. Should I use a backpack, tote, or messenger bag? A particular one? It would have to be able to go with any outfit.

I would suggest a tote bag- that way it would be nice and light to carry some of your notebooks and things home, and also you’d be able to carry your notebooks easily from class to class, while keeping other things in there like pencils, gum, lip gloss and “emergency stuff” if you’re a girl…. (:
