Can the battery and charger for a dell vostro 1000 work on other models?

I hads bought the battery two months ago but my screen gradually became unwatchable and scrambled on the right side as rthe lcd screen degraded.The bateeery specs are:

Can this work on other models of Dell laptops/notebooks because im considering buying a new laptop instead
