What is the best laptop and why?

Okay so I bought a Sony Vaio F series 2 yrs ago went out (screen cracked, keys stopped working) last feb, I bought my Toshiba (Satallite) went out yesterday took it to get fixed. He said would be cheaper to buy new one. So here I am again looking for a new laptop…sucks. So I want to make sure I buy one that lasts mre then 1 yr. What is the best brnad, I use it for school, home use, burn cds, ipod, some games so a little of everything. What is the best??

I would reccomend u to by Apple MacBook… They are having some sweet deals right now..
For me the most stable leptops were from HP brand.
