School Supplies (Ridiculous to me)?
Okay, this is what they want on the school supplies list-
1 Trapper Keeper
1 Pack of Notebook Paper
5 folders with pockets (What the hell?)
2 packs of pencils (You only need one pack..)
1 pack of pens (Maybe 2 pens)
5 Spiral Notebooks, 70 pages
1 3 ring binder for Science
1 Graph paper composition book
1 pack of colored pencils
1 6″ ruler
1 Scientific calculator
3 boxes of Kleenex
1 zipper pouch for pencils, etc.
2 composition books for science
Now to me, why do we need all these books? Don’t they ever think how much space thats gonna take up in binders and lockers? And why do I need a 3 ring binder for science? Wtf? Why do they ask for so much and half of this stuff isn’t even used during the entire school year.
To me I think this is ridiculous. Why do we buy all this s**t and we never use half of it? Why do we need so many damn books? Jesus =.=
Some of this stuff may be helpful, but if you went to my school, we use only half of these things, trust me.
You actually will probably need all of that. You’ll probably end up needed more notebook paper; the folders will be used for different classes and major assignments; you’ll probably go through more pencils than that; same goes for the pens; the notebooks are for taking notes (for different classes); the binder is to keep you organized; the graphing paper is for math; the colored pencils, ruler, and calculator are needed; the kleenex is for the whole class; you need somewhere to keep your pencils; and you need somewhere to take notes for science.. I don’t see how any of it is ridiculous
What grade are you in, by the way? If you’re in high school, then I agree, but you sound like you’re in grade school (in which case, that list makes perfect sense)
