What is the recommended duration of use laptops?

Hello everyone! I tried to search the site response to my question, but I could not find one. Can you help me determine what is the recommended duration of using a Acer Aspire 2920z or any other phones? Because I use my new laptop for 12-18 hours, as every day. I do not want to destroy or something. If please help me. And also, I'm using the main power while using my laptop, should I remove my batteries?
