Is it possible to get a notebook or netbook without Winsows XP?
All the reasonable notebooks, like the dell inspiron 10v, come with windows XP which I can’t stand. I much prefer windows vista. Are there any good* notebooks or netbooks with windows vista? Or… if I get one with windows XP, can I upgrades to windows vista or windows 7, which apparently is coming out soon? By the way, when is ‘soon’?
*= By good, I mean around £250 or less, a screen size of less than 13″ and a battery life on the internet for 3 or more hours. Also it looks good and is easy to use, like the toshiba NB200 n280.

Netbooks will not run Vista well. You’re best off waiting until the end of the month when Windows7 is released. It’s much more netbook and all around friendly. You can also order a lot of netbooks with Ubuntu Linux to save some money and sometimes get a larger hard drive.
